Meeting at 10.30am at The Hazelmere Cafe, 1-2 Yewbarrow Terrace, Grange over Sands, LA11 6ED Tel: 01539 532972. (GR 411 782).  Directions : A590 to roundabout and first exit before Lindale, then B5277 through Lindale and on to Grange.  Pass the railway station, then turn right at a mini-roundabout onto Windermere Road. There is a public car park at about 100 yards up on the right, charging £6.40 for 6 hours.  (There is also the station car park at £4.40 for the day, but you may need a railway ticket to use it).  

The walk will go up through woodland to the ridge and Hamspfell and The Hospice, then north skirting woodland, bearing right round to Hamspfield, then south back to Grange. Approx 6 miles.
