Mid-Week Walking Meet - Parbold

Meeting at 10.30am at 'Yours is the Earth' cafe in Parbold. 2 Mill Lane, Parbold, WN8 7NW Tel: 01257 462999.  Directions: head south on M6 to junction 27 for Standish.  Take the A5029 heading west to Parbold for c. 5km.  In Parbold turn right off Alder Lane onto Mill Lane at grid ref; 492 105.  Turn right after Beech Avenue and just before the Leeds-Liverpool Canal.  'Yours in the Earth' cafe is on the right.  From here we will move the cars to a large lay-by on the A5209. 

Walk takes in Harrock Hill, Hunters Hill and High Moor.  Approx 6.5 miles.
