Mid-Week Walking - Parbold

Meeting at 10.30am at 'Yours is the Earth' cafe in Parbold. 2 Mill Lane, Parbold, WN8 7NW Tel: 01257 462999.  

Directions:  Head south on the M6 to junction 27 at Standish. Leave the M6 and take the A5029 heading west to Parbold for c. 5 km. In Parbold, turn right off Alder Lane onto Mill Lane at grid ref. 492 105. Turn right after c. 200 yards, next right after Beech Avenue and just before the Leeds – Liverpool Canal. 'Yours is the Earth' cafe is on the right. From here we move cars to a large lay-by on the A5209.

Walk takes in Harrock Hill, Hunters Hill and High Moor.  Approx 6.5 miles.
